Most of the restaurants my wife and I eat at are deserted these days. We wandered by a jeweler yesterday to fix my wife's bracelet, and the guy there made the point that his sales have plummeted, with virtually nobody coming in for anything but engagement and wedding rings.

I'm sure the sales will cause a bump, but I suspect interest in Black Friday will be lower than usual. This is not really a time large numbers of people are thinking about big screen TVs.
