This is a direct result of Verizon doing a massive roll-out of FiOS in the Buffalo/Niagara area over the past few weeks. If Verizon hadn't, Time Warner Cable would've continued to add an HD channel every few months like they have been since they took over for Adelphia.

The first poster is correct. As a result, Buffalo/Niagara is still very much behind in the amount of HD channels offered throughout the rest of New York State by TWC.
