File this one straight in the rumor folder (we're watching...) for now, but the intarwebz are ablaze with chatter that
MOJO HD could be on the brink of collapse. After the all-HD channel -- which is home to
Three Sheets,
I Bet You, and a slew of other original programs -- was removed from select Cox and Comcast lineups, curious minds began to dig a little deeper. Turns out, parent company iN DEMAND is now rumored to be ceasing operation of the channel altogether, though we've no evidence to go on outside of a few unexplained disappearances. Anyone else see MOJO HD just fall off of their EPG? Let us know in comments below.
[Thanks, Jonny]

We still have it in central Indiana.

via Comcast by the way...
Dave @ Sep 18th 2008 3:12PM
I used to enjoy live out-of-market baseball & basketball games on INHD. Mainly....the Red Sox vs. Yankees games. It was almost a guarantee that they would show their games. Once it became MOJO, it just went down hill. But...that's just my opinion!
carterman @ Sep 18th 2008 3:14PM
Good riddance. The channel is (was) so full of mediocre content that it wasn't worth watching unless they were doing a simulcast of an NBA TV game, and it had to be a good one to watch it.
trex1993 @ Sep 18th 2008 3:21PM
Agreed. Used to love INHD/INHD2, especially whenever they showed IMAX docs. Nothing on Mojo ever caught my eye...and I tried.
Wryker @ Sep 18th 2008 3:26PM
WHA!? It's GONE from here in Nashville, TN QAM stations and I like the channel a lot. I love Three Sheets. If it goes down, it'll suck. I want to see MORE HD Stations (and not just stations, but HD programs ON HD stations): not less!
Eleventeen @ Sep 18th 2008 3:49PM
After Hours was pretty cool, and Three Sheets was the bomb.
I *do* miss the InHD's and their IMAX movies, Mojo occasionally plays them but not like back in the day.
The betting show and the wall street shows were crap, Technology Jones was like a bad gameshow, the driving show almost seemed like a parody of bad American car shows. My girlfriend really liked Pressure Cook but I kinda thought Ralph Pagano wasn't a) a talented chef, b) a funny guy, and c) a compelling host.
Chuck @ Oct 9th 2008 11:41AM
Maybe the Imax stuff will end up on HDNet
ralphpagano @ Nov 11th 2008 11:59PM
why so hurtful 11teen... someone wake up on the wrong side of the crib today???
sorry you didnt dig the show.. we had a good time doing it and I really enjoyed the experience.. dont be such a hater... its not good karma...

Thank goodness, what a waste of bandwidth. Hopefully Cablevision here in NY replaces it with SCI FI HD or some other channel thats worthy of an HD slot.
The Aggie CEO @ Sep 18th 2008 4:21PM
Still have it in Greensboro, NC
Travis @ Sep 18th 2008 4:32PM
Comcast Seattle still carries MOJO HD.
avillafane @ Sep 18th 2008 5:32PM
we still have it on cox in phoenix
Byrdman @ Sep 18th 2008 5:33PM
if Mojo goes i will truly be upset. I love that channel. I bet you is hillarious and three sheets is great. Pressure cook is also very good as well.
mntwister @ Sep 18th 2008 5:50PM
When they had INHD 1&2, those were good channels. Great Hollywood classic movies and good programming. When they reduced the channel to Mojo, alot of the good stuff disappeared.
kakaze @ Sep 18th 2008 6:05PM
If it wasn't for the fact that I had to get Mojo to get HDNet, HDNet Movies, Universal HD, and MGM HD, I would never even give Mojo a second thought. I've been mildly entertained by a few episodes of Three Sheets, and I've seen the occasional doco on Mojo, but for the most part it has nothing interesting to me at all.
HDNet Movies, however, is teh awesome!
MasterCKO @ Sep 18th 2008 6:28PM
I honestly hope this isn't true. MOJO is definitely a great addition to my HD lineup. A new channel with original programming that I really enjoyed. 8^(
chuckf1 @ Sep 18th 2008 6:48PM
We still have it in Charlotte, N.C. If MOJO goes, I'm really going to miss "Three Sheets."
Tejas Padekar @ Sep 18th 2008 6:52PM
I didn't even know the channel existed... until now...! :-s
crawdad62 @ Sep 18th 2008 7:08PM
Original unique programming? Actual HD content? Yeah it'll probably fail. Too bad. I don't get it but I've seen it and really enjoy it. I guess I won't be looking for it to be added to DirecTV.
I'm sure the powers that will squish it will replace it with some Brady Bunch "HD" stetch-O-vision.
Krusher79 @ Sep 18th 2008 8:04PM
What? say it aint So... I love three sheets. I will admit I have lately become tired of the reruns but hey it that time of year. I also enjoyed fields of glory. and whats wron with mediocre? at least these some of these shows had more content then the crap on most other channels.
matcarl @ Sep 18th 2008 8:26PM
When you go to their upcoming schedule page on their website, October 19-31 dates are crossed off. I don't know if they normally do that for dates not scheduled yet or not. It just looks suspicious.

Most of the time MOJO on Comcast in New Jersey was pre-empted during prime time hours for local hockey games in HD last year[almost every night]. Comcast's recent deal with HDNet probably was the final nail in MOJO's coffin. BTW, I agree with others that liked the old INHD/INHD2 offerings better thatn MOJO,
RC @ Sep 18th 2008 10:17PM
It's still here in Anne Arundel County, MD. Probably because it carries the select games MASN airs in HD.
CharlieXray @ Sep 18th 2008 11:27PM
Take MOJO and give me SCI-FI HD ;)
Moaner @ Sep 19th 2008 7:54AM
I'm in the camp of INHD/INHD2.
I miss the IMAX movies, and especially the short story films and the incredible HD destination films. Kind of like a sandpaper GalleryHD or Equator HD but with more pizazz.
Ever since they went MOJO I would constantly check out the content but nothing really grabbed, so got to say sorry to see you go but you won't really be missed.
acabtp @ Sep 19th 2008 9:38AM
man, I hope that isn't true. i watch Mojo all the time; it's one of my favorite channels. there are a lot of good shows and documentaries on there: pressure cook, i bet you, wall street warriors, dr. danger.
Mike @ Sep 19th 2008 9:38AM
Lost it on Fios on DE with the new channel lineup.
riverside_guy @ Sep 19th 2008 11:28AM
The other side of the coin is that many cable systems charge extra for it, but generally bundled with other channels, like HDNet and HDNet-M. So we will lose value... and what WILL the cable systems do about that?
The bundle deal we had (TWC/NYC) was 5 HD only channels. Which became 4 when 2 InHDs became Mojo. Then the sports channels (ESPN HD) became free, leaving 3. NOW, if Mojo goes, it's down to 2. Oh, all along we pay the same price we paid for the 5!
DEEZNUTZ @ Sep 19th 2008 12:11PM
How about "what will YOU do about that"? Cancel it. Don't let cable hold you by the balls if you don't feel it's a good value anymore. Go with DTV or Dish or OTA instead. Fight the power son!
Baron @ Sep 19th 2008 2:02PM
Here in Jackson, MS on Comcast, I would swear to you that we just recently had it added. I spend most of my time in the HD channels, so I generally know them all by heart, but Mojo just appeared (or maybe I just noticed it?) for the first time about 2 weeks ago.
JagoMidnight @ Sep 21st 2008 10:57PM
Cablevision in NYC still has it, i'm sure if it goes we'll carry it until the end. Unfortunately I haven't cared for much on this channel since it switched from INHD,..except King Of Miami, that show is hilarious!
Though most of the shows aren't that great, losing an HD channel still sucks, more HD! More HD!
photogCT @ Sep 23rd 2008 4:07PM

Dont take away my Three Sheets. Hopefully they wont take it off comcast down here in south Florida.

Cablevision is dropping Mojo on 12/1/2008 according to their latest bill.
Paul @ Dec 1st 2008 8:39PM
As an editor who is working on ideas for great TV shows, I find this extremely discouraging. The MOJO channel was a refreshing look at TV again. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in discovering that it will no longer be on air. In a world that is dry and flat in programming, I thought this channel was young and edgy and frankly just beginning to take off. It had so much potential. There is so much garbage on the air! How does a channel like Spike stay on, and not MOJO. The DVD's are no help either. One of the great reasons I loved this channel so much was because of its true HD quality. What the hell am I gonna do with a DVD? This is a bummer.
Steve @ Dec 2nd 2008 7:21AM
Three Sheets kicked ass...WTF?!
Italman1285 @ Dec 2nd 2008 10:46PM
MojoHd had some of the best programs on comcast and it was all in HD. I hope they make another channel with the same programs. I will esp miss three sheets.
