So this 82" is more expensive than the 103" Plasma from Panasonic?? Is that a joke?

Let's do some comparison:

NEC 82" LCD: 82-inch
Panasonic 103" plasma: 103-inch

NEC 82" LCD: 5,000:1 contrast ratio
Panasonic 103" plasma: 10,000: 1 contrast ratio

NEC 82" LCD: 60-pixels-short (1920x1020)
Panasonic 103" plasma: FULL HD (1920x1080)

NEC 82" LCD: $54,999
Panasonic 103" plasma: $48,314
