Than banding in the sky on the right is obviously visible at this tiny size. Let alone on a big monitor or a HDTV.

The images you see in that comparison are screencaps after transcoding from Viddyou and a commonly used entertainment video portal. We believe in truth in advertising and if you go to www.viddyou.com/hbr you can view the video that was used for that screencap and even download the original (under the Share button) if you want to see the difference between the transcoded version online and the original file.
Be sure to check out the 1080p demo since we just rebuilt the entire player in AS3. If you can maintain a ~1MB/s or better data rate and have a MacBook Pro 2.2GHz or equiv//better you should have little problem with 1080p playback. www.viddyou.com/hd for both 1080p and 720p

I guessing you work for Viddyou. I have a question about the site's logo. What inspired the creator for the look and feel of the logo? It has quite a distinct look about it.

I went to Viddyou. I didn't see any HD video anywhere! Vimeo is way better and you can download the full HD source video.

Hi,
Video sharing is all the rage since a while now, and it does not seem to end. Everybody wants to share their videos, their passions and the things they like. There are so many sites around to publish videos on the web that it is sometimes hard to make a choice. We know some of the big players on the market like YouTube, Revver or Dailymotion, but there are so many others competing to be the number one, or targeting a specific audience, be it geographically (China, Japan, Turkey...), by language (German, Arabic, French...) or for the kind of content they focus on (cooking, planes, extreme sports...).
