This was first mentioned on the Internet back in late February. I 'think' the MRSP is $3499.99, but they are shipping as someone also has a box shot on the Internet.

SXRD (Lcos) is the way to go ... I am still madly in love with my 60" Sony SXRD XBr2 .. as soon as i get out of this condo and into a house i will get a SXRD projector

I'm surprised Sony hasn't given up on the dynamic iris yet. JVC has obviously perfected superwide contrast ratios without a dynamic iris, so why is Sony still using it?
