The thing is, normally you use a 3-chip projector for a large screen because it has more lumens, but why would you want to use a 720p projector on a ginormous screen when there's so many more 1080p projectors out there. Heck the Optoma HD81-LV can be had for a 1/3rd of the price and has the same lumens, though it's a 1-chip.
