Based on user reviews, I bought an Aiptek HD camcorder and it seems to be a good value. I can't justify spending $600+ on a camcorder for making family videos.

Did you test this cam or just read the press release? Are your comments about the camera based on prior experience or what?

I think if this unit does 1080p for $200, that would work for a lot of people. The HD quality is not a matter of opinion is it?
