Maybe this will make way for a true HD version of MTV to come out? I really don't understand how they pretend that's the HD version of MTV when they don't broadcast anything from the actual network (that I know of).
With the popularity MTV has always had, I'm surprised they're so far behind every other network when it comes to having HD content.
MHD has been showing episodes of FNMTV everyday I believe. But MHD is NOT the HD channel of Mtv. Its the HD channel that combines CMT, VH1 and Mtv. They have been showing more Mtv style music videos and less of the country stuff (thank you).
Mtv is really behind when it comes to HD though. While they shoot all of their concerts in HD, their TV shows are not. Comcast has "HD" versions of the reality shows in the OnDemand menus, but they are just digital versions of the same SD episodes, or stretched to widescreen.
2009 better mean more HD for Mtv. I want my Hills in HD!

You've got that right. MHD actually plays music...
