aloft is definitely not Hampton Inn. I stay at Hampton Inn and a lot of other hotels each year. I was fortunate to see the aloft design warehouse before they started opening. This is a W hotel scaled down to affordability for the everyday business (or family) traveler. If you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s, or young at heart, this will definitely blow the doors off of any Hilton lower or middle tier hotel, even Sheraton Four Points (part of the same Starwood family). I just stayed at the Sheraton Four Points at PHL and cannot wait until the aloft opens there.
