yeah it uses mini discs just like every other optical-media camcorder.
the harddrive seems kid of small though, considering the size of a blu-ray disc. i know these discs dont have the same capacity as a full sized disc but i would still that that the hard drive only has enough storage to match the capacity of 3 discs or so

I've been wondering when we'd see one of these. Its not a bad price considering all it does, containing a Blu-Ray recorder AND a Hard Disk Drive.
The picture look like it must be some sort of mini-Blu-Ray disc tho.
