Bestbuy had a 1 day sale on their 73" mitubishi hdtvs and knocked 1000 off. I got mine for 2k instead of 3. They are not following the laws of supply and demand. They are creating an artificially high price for their products. Why should it cost $5,000 or $10,000 for a TELEVISION? People that pay this much are the reason they keep the prices high. But when products sell well, prices are higher.  If the demand for the product drops off (as is the case with our slowing economy), inventory builds, and then prices fall to clear out the inventory.
