Baby, the sample prices for the SpursEngine are well publicized and it is $100. Even when it goes into production proper the price is likely to be at least $40-50. Which would explain why these upscaling DVD players that you are desperately trying to paint as the next best thing are still vapourware.
As for Blu Ray people "hating" Toshiba. Heh, nope. Many people just wish they would sort their shit out and start making decent kit rather than all this nonsense trying to prop up DVD with half-baked and desperate schemes that will go nowhere.
