The next Planet Earth? National Geographic premieres Earth: The Biography tonight
We've felt an odd void for nature programming on our HDTV, so National Geographic's Earth: The Biography series comes at an excellent time. As usual, high definition makes the seven continent journey pop, starting off tonight with an episode on volcanoes, followed immediately by a second focusing on ice. We don't have to tell you how great an experience Planet Earth was (and the real sequel isn't due til 2012), so we don't recommend missing any part of this three night event.[Via HeraldNet]

The host's Aussie accent made the show unwatchable. Sad since it looked like it was pretty good, I just couln't bear his voice.

That's a Scottish accent. Sure as hell isn't Australian.

The visuals were pretty good...... and they did do some good work on it... but why skimp on the audio commentary.... The commentary was nowhere close to what Sir David Attenborough delivered for 'Planet Earth'.
Can we get some "Neutral English" please....... I ended up flipping to another channel after 15 mins. into this great series.... all coz of the lame commentary........

Aw... dang it! I missed the first episode.
I pre-ordered this on Blu-ray, but still, it would have been nice to have this on the DVR.
Oh, and on that note, I can't wait for Media Center to natively support clear QAM.
