TWC spreads Dallas' 11 newest HD channels to Irving / Las Colinas
So Time Warner Cable promised outlying areas of Dallas / Fort Worth that they'd have access to these 11 high-def channels within nine months of 'em landing in DFW. It has been just under four months now, and we're hearing that residents of Irving, Las Colinas and other surrounding towns are finally seeing the likes of CNN HD, TBS HD, History HD, A&E HD, Discovery HD, National Geographic HD and a smattering of others. Still, we're hesitant to believe that everyone in the region is covered, so be sure and let your status be known below. What a great day, TWC woo hoo has added "9" new HD channels to Los Angeles in Woodland Hills.

Dang, if only TWC was that generous down here in the CC Texas area. We haven't had any new hd channels in a long while. And i'm tired of getting a laugh from the personnel at the office when I ask about new Hd channels.

We now have 28 HD channels in the basic package $5. not bad. Only took them 17mths+ to go from 19 to 28.

Better than waiting just shy of a year for a record setting 2 Hd channels. Down here we have 16.

I live in Garland and I still don't have the new channels. The people in Richardson, one block away, have them though.

I feel your pain. I'm in Euless, just across the airport from Irving and I get no TWC love.

I'm in Garland, but down by the other side - I'm aout two blocks away from the Sunnyvale border. I don't have the HD package, but my TiVo HD has all these channels in the listing, I just don't get them.
Whether that's because I haven't paid for the HD package or they're just not available, I don't know.

Just in case anyone is wondering, these new channels are NOT switched! I'm enjoying every one of them in high-deffity glory on my TiVo without the mythical tuning adapter. Of course...pretty much the only channel that's worth celebrating is Discovery HD, but still...that's SOMETHING, right?
