For those of us who have HBO and not Showtime, this is really a slap in the face. I known I've been waiting for this to air in HD for a long time and now I won't get the chance to see that happen.
There are a number of other shows I like that are not aired in HD - even though they are on HD channels - and I simply don't understand why. I get so frustrated when I turn on an HD channel and find this, considering all the money I've put into being able to watch HD.
I'm sure it's a stupid question to ask if costs more to broadcast a show in HD, but is the cost that much more significant? Couldn't a show like "Inside the NFL" still be shown in SD, but with the highlights in HD (since the games are broadcast in HD anyway)?
