There are a number of other shows I like that are not aired in HD - even though they are on HD channels - and I simply don't understand why. I get so frustrated when I turn on an HD channel and find this, considering all the money I've put into being able to watch HD.

I'm sure it's a stupid question to ask if costs more to broadcast a show in HD, but is the cost that much more significant? HBO was stupid to cancel a show "like Inside The NFL" after 25 years.
