Cox lines up 4 more HD channels for Norfolk / Hampton Roads, VA
Although Cox subscribers up in NoVA have had the four HD channel we're about to mention for months now, we suppose late really is better than never. Reportedly, the carrier is gearing up to launch Bravo HD, USA HD, SciFi HD and CNBC HD in the Norfolk / Hampton Roads area of Virginia, with the go-live date pegged for July 24th. Is a happy dance in order?

This is good news. Brings the total up to about 38 HD channels not including the on-demand stuff. The only one of those four that I really watch though is SciFi.

Did hell just freeze over? You mean us bottom feeders in this forgotten P.Robertson-fest actually getting SciFi HD? So nice of you to get everyone else first, I'll have to fly out to San Diego again to find out what you'll install here in 2010(switched digital, Docsis 3.0 w/ 30/15 pipe, the Tivo build of DVR software, Tru2way, blah blah blah on the 24th for them most likely). Well, ya missed BSG, but if you indeed hit the 24th mark, at least we can get our SG-A/Eureka premieres on on the 27th.
However I am tempted to still hold out on getting digital cable with DVR due to spite until BSG comes back in 09...
I mean after all the economy is crap...
