I'm a little confused about how this is supposed to work. It's passing HD over coax. If I have coax running into my set it's probably connected to a cable ready tuner, which generally doesn't support HD resolutions. It could be connected to an antenna input and ATSC tuner, but that's not specified. Anyone know how this works?
Your TV needs to have an ATSC/QAM tuner. QAM is the key part. If your TV can pick up the unencrypted digital signals from the cable company, it will also work with this device.
