Let me know when a standalone BD-Live player gets to be less than $150, and BD new releases are less than $20. And neither the player nor the movies can be made by Sony. Until then, Blu-ray can shove it.

Your $150 player will be here next year for sure. DEEZ is right about Amazon's pricing. Prices are dropping so often there that yesterday I had to email them for a post-purchase price adjustment on Cloverfield (price dropped by $3) and There Will Be Blood (Dropped by a buck).

At least Tosh hasn't losy anything near what sony has lost, BR is going to remain expensive for a veeeery long time, sony has torn up over 3 $billion and their still counting!
