$2000? That's not cheap. I paid just shy of $2000 for a 50" Panny plasma that blows away this TV's PQ. LCD marketing must be doing something right cause it amazes me how many people continue to buy crap TV's just cause their LCD's. "Oh look honey, for less than the price of a Sony 46" XBR, we can get a 52" Westinghouse. What a steal!"

Friend of mine paid $1300 shipped for a 52" Olevia 1080P. That's more of a reasonable price for this set than $2000.
