As before - I want to mention that Iceland's former state incumbent telecom Siminn has been delivering HD via IPTV set-top boxes since last autumn. Still we only have Dicovery HD, but that's a good starter. I was in a test group for it and it worked like a charm.
Delivery mechanism is via MPLS backbone through ADSL2 capable DSLAMS to the home. STB connected to a ADSL2 capable router.

We have three DVB-S platforms in poland (Cyfrowy Polsat, Cyfra+, N) In england is only one - SKY and now freesat. We can watch in polish language lots of HD channes (HBO HD, Eurosport HD, Polsat Sport HD, TVN HD, Discovery HD, National Geogr HD, Filmbox HD) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
