No double-takes necessary, Cox has just delivered five new HD channels in the
Northern Virginia (Fairfax) area. According to a local familiar with the situation (read: watching the tube), subscribers up that way can now tune into USA HD, Bravo HD, SciFi HD, CNBC HD and Lifetime HD. Per usual, it's anybody's guess as to when (or if) these stations will find their way onto other systems, but don't ever give up hope, alright?
[Thanks, Eric]

My Tivo notified me of this lineup change at least 2 months ago. Of course, having a Series3 Tivo, I haven't been able to appreciate them yet, since they are all on SDV...

I live in Northern Virginia, and to be honest, most people are leaving Cox nowadays. Fios is taking over, and our house is no exception. We had Cox for a bit but it was unreliable, the internet was slow, and the lineup was inadequate for what we paid for it. Fios solves all those things!
