Comcast now airing Houston's MyNetworkTV affiliate (My20) in HD
Nothing too exciting about this one -- unless you're a fan of My20, that is. Houston, Texas residents can now find their local MyNetworkTV affiliate in glorious high-definition on Comcast. Aside from airing Astros games, a variety of movies and a good bit of original programming, the channel also becomes yet another available in HD from the local cable carrier. For those who haven't noticed it pop up in the EPG, it can be found on slot 304 right now.[Thanks, Carlos]

Yea, saw it the other day, but the game was an up-scalled 4:3 standard definition signal - nothing like the nice video on FSN-HD (which is almost always off-air showing the test pattern - even when they could be showing the more interesting Rangers games).

WWE Smackdown is moving from CW to MyNetworkTV in September, and WWE does everything in HD, so that'll be more HD content for the channel (and the people of Houston) in a few months.
Hopefully DirecTV will get agreements for marekts, including mine (Indianapolis), soon.

I just wish Comcast would give us schedule of when stuff like this goes into effect. The only real benefit is Astros and Rockets games that were in HD OTA. I hope they add ESPNNEWSHD soon
