The Cable Show is all about bringing the members of the cable TV industry together, and unlike the Consumer Electronics Show, everything is all about business to business. But this doesn't mean the big players don't have big booths, and just like any other show, everyone wants to be on the main aisle. So while we strolled through, we snapped some pics so you could get an idea of what it was like. Also like any other show, some booths were packed like
Motorola's and
Cisco's, but others were like a ghost town -- we almost felt sorry for the
Aljazeera booth folks who were talking amongst themselves. The one thing that seemed to hold true wherever we went, was that everyone is excited about
tru2way, and not for the reasons you think. Cable really thinks it has a chance to take interactivity to the next level, and we hope they're right.

Wow, I must be slipping in my old age as I didn't even realize that this show was happening in my own backyard. I must see if I can manage some time off work and attend! I love to see the latest and greatest technologies in the works.

I wish I was there!
I heard Fox Business will be broadcasting from the floor during happy hour today at 5 pm. I'll tune in to see if they will cover any new technology from the show.

So is it me, or is the NBC video wall showing stretch-o-vision (far left)? Guess it goes to show that I can't expect restaurants to get it right if the people at the NETWORK can't see the difference!

What, no close-ups of the Hustler booth?

They should have put Aljazeera next to Fox, then they would have mutually extinguished each other and disappeared from this plane of existence.
