Despite the fact that LG has gotten better... they are still FAR from being a Pioneer. As someone in the business, LG has a long way to go before they are going to take one sale from Pioneer. As most whom buy Pioneer, at least in retail store (not us online price hunters), would never buy anything that what is considered the best. But at least LG has moved away from its days of triple pane glass. And from the picture, it looks as if they have also dropped the ridiculous recessed control panel with the buttons that are not tactile, and impossible to find in the dark because they only light up on contact, as they have had on their upper end plasmas of last year. I do like to see more interest in Plasmas though, I love the picture, and I could never find myself buying a 52" LCD to replace my current 50" Plasma (Kuro) and this gives me hope that there is chance that I will be able to replace it with something even better... and that Plasma's arent going anywhere soon.
