Loban, you are wrong. When you have a set that can achieve infinite black, you will see color in its purest form. You would be painting color on the screen with no influence of extra light. You will also gain the ability to achieve perfect shadow detail, but this will all depend on how the TV manages gamma. LG recent sets have made huge strides in quality and the number of adjustments that can be made. Even the 50PG20 now has more adjustments then my Elite Kuro. I am very excited to see these new panels since I'm also a dealer. What really is exciting is the fact LG has much lower prices then other manuafactures, because they produce the entire set inside and out so they can control cost. When these new panels hit they are gonna turn the industry of high end displays on its head, and cause the biggest reduction in price of high quality displays then we have yet had.
