Doc, we do know. I'm an employee for the NFL Network. We have plans to go entirely HD with our programming sometime in 2009. I can't give an actual date, but this is what we have in the works. Right now everything we do at the network is completely done in HD. Right down to the graphics. Unfortunately, only the programming being broadcast out of our Mount Laurel facility in New Jersey (NFL Films) is able to transmit in HD to your homes.
As this was stated before, distribution has been the biggest obstacle facing every aspect of the network. From new shows, better coverage and right down to employee salaries. As an employee there and football fan, I believe wholeheartedly in the network and would love to see it the success it will no doubt become soon.
