120hz is nothing like this... in fact 120hz is such a gimmick so LCD's can make up for its lack of high scan rates found in plasmas. Right now, 120hz lcd's are so slow that they cause more blurring, pixelating, and artifacting with it on than off. PLUS... movies are filmed in 24fps, so what good does it do to have 120fps? It makes it look like the cameraman turned off the image stabilization.
