EdgeStream enters the HD-over-internet pool

First Akamai, now EdgeStream... it seems we might actaully see HD streaming this year and really expanded next year.

This was quite expected. Next step, connect it with Xbox 360 or PS3 and we are done. With explosion of HDTV sources, HD digital distribution models are coming very soon, I think it's becoming very clear now that we will say bye bye to optical media completely in the next 2-3 years.
