Don't expect HDMI audio with that type of price tag. It's a great buy for an entry level system. When I use to work at CC I'd recommend the Onkyo HTIB's all the time and then explained if they got real into audio that picking up a Onkyo 605 along the road would bring them up to speed with everything.
