I say this because I live within metro Columbus, OH (a pretty decent area for telecommunications competition) and according to Verizon's website as of this afternoon FIOS service is still not available at my address which means the ONLY television service I could possibly get from Verizon is their Direct TV service which, as the ad says, does require a dish.

Just my $0.02 on the engadget interwebs, for what it's worth.

courtenay27

Comments on Verizon denied temporary block on TWC's anti-FiOS ads

This ad is not being used in your market, it is being used in the markets were Verizon Fios goes head to head with TWC. Its Verizon who should be sued for their incessant fios commercials. As a matter of fact, Ive called cablevision asking them to pull all fios commercials off the air. Their fios commercials are misleading because in no way, shape or form is fios internet better than cable. I get 30mbps cable and verizon cant match that.
