You have me guessing as to what is running in which monitor, and why are there two monitors, is your PSP controlling your PS3 (which I didn't see), and so on and on. Again, narrate your video.

Mr Stevo

Comments on Sony pushing Blu-ray aspects of PlayStation 3 starter packs

If you were planning on getting those extra's its not a bad deal I suppose.

massive_98

Comments on Sony pushing Blu-ray aspects of PlayStation 3 starter packs

Why shouldn't they ?? i have one its the only reason to own one its a great Bluray/DVD player.. Sony thinks that they're giving away the console by "saving you" $10. You can get either one of those movies for under $20 quite easily. "I Am Legend" is $18 from Amazon. "Enchanted" has a $10 off coupon floating around on the Internets. Target was recently giving $40 gift cards with the purchase of the console. The remote control can be found for under $20. As a matter of fact Circuit City has a better deal right now. Here you go. Enjoy it: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/genericContent.do?oid=209963&linkid=j13774590k3736&affiliateid=k3736&mid=117503-n-10&linkid=j13459594k1971&affiliateid=k1971&mid=sduidp0t787738

Mr Stevo

Comments on Sony pushing Blu-ray aspects of PlayStation 3 starter packs

My second comment is in the wrong spot. Spend $400-500, and save only $10 when ordering from Sony directly. So they're discounting full retail a few dollars. PS1 titles play on every PS3. PS2 backwards compatibility varies by model. 60Gb features full hardware BC, 80Gb features partial hardware BC (which is still extremely good), the 40Gb has no PS2 hardware at all. So at present there is no BC in the 40Gb model.

However it seems likely that Sony will want to sell PS2 titles as downloads at some point so it seems like that some form of BC will eventually appear. I doubt it will be comprehensive as the other models.

Anyway, if BC is important, get an 80Gb model while you still can. Otherwise hang onto your PS2.

DrXym

Comments on Sony pushing Blu-ray aspects of PlayStation 3 starter packs

I searched out and found a 60gb ps3 to play blu-rays, ps2 and ps3 games. I never owned a game system but wanted to be able to buy cheaper games (ps2) if I so choose.
