I have a vizio plasma, and I have never seen any LCD that could even come close to matching it. There's just no competition in picture quality between LCD and plasma.

I have no problem with having only large (50+) high end plasmas and letting the LCD's dominate the low end of the market, but the picture advantage, even for cheap plasmas, just can't be overlooked. I have faith that at least one company will continue making plasmas as even the cheap ones beat out high end LCD's.
