J Epstein @ Mar 30th 2008 1:27PM
you sure you did not see a simulcast on espn 2 hd?
Patrick @ Mar 30th 2008 12:39PM
comcast salt lake city= no espnews hd. i was excited for this and contacted comcast to find out if it was going to be available. i talked to 3 different reps and all 3 said that it was currently available (this was last week!) i kept on having to explain to them that espnews is not the same as espnews hd! they did not understand and kept on trying to convince me that they are carrying a channel that at the time did not exist. incompetence.
Tony @ Mar 30th 2008 12:40PM
No go yet on my Directv here.
Big John @ Mar 30th 2008 1:15PM

Big Sam @ Mar 30th 2008 11:13PM
Are you sure? I don't see it on DirecTV in Dallas yet.
Jeremy W @ Mar 30th 2008 1:32PM
DirecTV will be launching it at 6am on April 2nd. On channel 207, obviously.
Jules Epstein @ Mar 30th 2008 3:07PM
who provided the info re wed launch?
Jeremy W @ Mar 30th 2008 3:47PM
A DirecTV employee who would know. Also launching on Wednesday are Disney Channel HD and Toon Disney HD. ABC Family HD was supposed to launch at the same time, but it has been delayed. I don't know why, nor for how long.
eric @ Mar 30th 2008 1:48PM

No channel for directv hd in philadelphia
bugatti23007 @ Mar 30th 2008 4:31PM
I'm in Brooklyn,NY and I have Directv and its on channel 73 and not on 207.Now I have to try and remember that its on 73
J Epstein @ Mar 30th 2008 6:58PM
I live in Queens and my channel 73 shows ESPN HD not ESPN News HD
Jeremy W @ Mar 30th 2008 8:16PM
Channel 73 is the legacy channel number for ESPN HD. They simulcasted ESPNEWS HD earlier in the day. When ESPNEWS HD launches on Wednesday, it will be on 207. Why is this concept so hard to grasp?
Charles @ Mar 30th 2008 4:55PM
With Comcast? Ha! That's hopeful wishing!

Ryan @ Mar 30th 2008 6:29PM

Todd @ Mar 30th 2008 7:06PM
this is the response i got from RCN customer support:
"We have not been given a definite ETA for when this channel will be available. We have however, been informed that by the end of the year. We will have a greater HD selection. Maybe filling out a channel request form will expedite this channel being added sooner."
now go flood their mailbox with HD requests!!
