Myka sneaks BitTorrent into the living room
OK, perhaps not so sneaky, there's a nice big BitTorrent logo right up front, but Myka seems to be quite the end-to-end solution for getting those torrents up on the big screen. The box hooks up to the internet via LAN or WiFi, includes a 80GB, 160GB or a 500GB drive for storage and runs a torrent client on Linux. Outputs include HDMI, composite, S-Video and SPDIF, and codec support is substantial. You can add storage via USB, and pull video off your computer if you're not in a downloading mood. Prices range from $299 to $459. Let's keep it legal out there, kids!

Hey man, I'm sick of the "man" coming down on us peoples. I use torrents for legitimate purposes. Just the other day I seeded a garage band's sweet tune from my local town with there permission. And just this morning a downloaded this kickass calculator app for my PSP with modded firmware. So there you see! All legit, stickin' to the man!

Myka better hope that Apple doesn't have design patents on the appearance of the AppleTV. That thing couldn't look more like an AppleTV if they tried.
A pirated design to service the pirating needs of the A/V community. Nicely done Myka!

I really disagree with that, man. By that logic, any external hard drive case that is square would violate said patent. It's not a full computer, either... it's a bit torrent client/media server.
Pretty sure they could try harder, like not putting logos or a usb port on the front.. maybe add a dvd drive, to name a few.
Doesn't look like ATV to me...
Sweet it has HDMI though.. I don't really see the point though when I have a NAS and XBMC.

bit torrents have very little non-pirated content. i think this device is a horrible idea.
