FSN Kansas City to carry 88 Royals games in HD
Although the Royals were already receiving the "world's largest" HD LED scoreboard in their home stadium, fans having to watch from the comfort of their own couches were yearning for more. Thankfully, FSN Kansas City -- the "new television home of the Royals" -- will be helping you folks out, as it's gearing up to broadcast 88 of the club's games this season in gorgeous high-definition. As you well know, 2008 marks the first year in which the Royals matchups will be aired in HD (regionally, at least), and FSN KC isn't wasting any time in delivering the goods. Starting on March 31st, Royals fans can catch the team's opener at Detroit in HD, and the home opener on April 8th (against the Yankees) will also be shown in high-def. Heck, even the pre- and post-game shows will be seen in HD on HD game nights. Check out the full HD schedule in the read link below.

Why bash the Royals? Its not like they are saying their going to the Monday baseball game every week(Yankees). I think its great I will be able to watch this many games in HD this year.
PS..
Some teams don't have the luxury of a 200+ million dollar payroll.

I love the Royals! 'Course, I was born two miles from the stadium. (Over by Harry Truman's house while he was still living in it!)
I've even photographed a few Royals games. (Way better food in the press box than the Chiefs on the other side of the parking lot.)
George Brett alone should make people at least not make snarky remarks about the Royals. At least for our lifetimes. I remember standing on the field while he was in batting practice. He said, "The next one I'm going to hit the Coke sign next to the waterfall." Missed it by six inches. Man, what a player.
Go Royals!

I love the Royals too..have since I was a kid. Watching them lose in HD is still HD...so it'll still look cool.
But, like every year, I have high, high hopes for a season without a hundred losses.
Let's hope for the best!
[being the die-hard fan for so long, I still have to wonder if money spent on buying the world's largest HD-LCD would've been better spent on a better dugout or bullpen?...]

I can't wait to see all the red in the stadium in HD when the Cardinals come to town.
