Too bad buying consumer electronics wont stimulate our economy. It'll stimulate Japans and Chinas, but certainly not ours. Thanks guys.

Not entirely true. If you're buying it from American retailers, they will be able to get a bit of it, and of course they were likely sent via American truck drivers who loaded up at American warehouses, which were in turn loaded up from American ports.
But in principle I agree. I'd love to see an American electronics company again. :(

WTF? Who said anything about "selling out"? News flash, Sparky: That's OUR money that the U.S. government legally steals from our paychecks.
I'd MUCH rather have it go back into the hands of the PEOPLE who are the true owners of it than to bullshit projects like Alaskan bridges to nowhere, paying farmers to NOT farm their fields when we have starvation all over the world, or going into the back pockets of those jackasses in Washington that we call our "legislators".
So, shut up. If you don't want to be considered as a sell out and if you're just going to bitch about it, then GIVE ME YOUR CHECK. I'll stimulate the economy for you in proxy.

No. I'm sick of the bullshit class warfare that I see on EngadgetHD. First we have to deal with BD fanboys saying that if you don't spend $500 or more on a BD player then you need to get a better job or else you're a "true" home theatre enthusiast. Now we have you initiating class warfare about how we get $600 but the rich get $6 mil.
