Hmm. That might be the architectural design, but I can tell you that UH students are (on the most part) neither wealthy enough, or stylish enough, to have it decked out like that. I'm sure if you were to actually go into any of them, you would see the standard 15 yr old sofa, beat-up coffee table, and a sheet for curtains. Having said that, the kitchenette looks nice. Assuming the beadroom is the same size, it looks larger than my first few apartments.
