You know what ESPN should do, or other channels for that matter, make ESPNews interactive, particularly with the scores. Just use your remote to highlight and scroll to whatever section you want to read about and instantly get those scores. It would be so much better so you wouldn't have to wait for the bottome line to scroll to the NFL news when it's going through 100 NCAA scores.
Just make the channel interactive like D* active channel.
DirecTV does this with certain channels and similar sports. I think you can get football scores watching football, but you can't get basketball scores watching football... at least last we checked. You can move the highlighter around, hit "OK" and tune to the game if it's available on Directv.

it would have to be a completely seperate channel though (i would guess).
i had an idea where your cable box menu would show the scores for the game (when you press info) when u have the channel set to a game.
