If those specs are accurate then I'll likely need to take out a 2nd mortgage in order to be able to buy one.

It needs ATSC and QAM tuners. NTSC tuners will be useless in less than a year.

This looks like a Euro spec unit. They are not losing analog anytime soon.

woa a standalone dvr with COMPONENT INPUTS! i wonder if it actually records HD or just 480p like some other recorders that tout component inputs

What no H.264 and .mkv compatibility? For a new toy, its not future proof.
