Err..right, kinda like the premium we pay for making DVD the dominant format? You should be glad HD format prices have dropped as much as they have; thinking you're going to find a BD player at 'mainstream' pricing levels this early in adoption is delusional. People are too accustomed to seeing the chinese-manufactured $29.99 DVD players on store shelves, and don't want to wait for BD to hit that mass-market level.
