Seems destined for the American market considering it has an NTSC/ATSC/clear QAM tuner.

It does support .mkv (Matroska Multimedia Container) files.

The specification page states that it outputs "1920*1080p (Full HD)".

If this specific one doesn't come out in the US, I'm sure very similar ones will. Been waiting for a 1080p media extender.
