I guess the HD-DVD giveaways and firesales will push the pie even more red till stock depletes. A lot of retailers are very eager to get rid of HD-DVD.
I doubt it will go any higher. Being outsold 3 to 1 while a massive firesale is going on is probably as good as it gets. The last week would have put off even the bargain hunters and the 5 free dvd offer ends next week.
@Nfinity, the chance that Warner is going to republish disks for your beloved and dead format stands between slim and non existent. And they sure as hell are not going to make any HD DVDs beyond their previous commitments. Which includes The Dark Knight, a movie that will exist on HD DVD only in your deluded angry imagination.
"Yes, so much that Warner said they'll continue to replenish stock if there's demand. Numbnuts."
You really are grasping at straws by thinking that, I can't believe that you are really that naive.
With everyone, including Toshiba, bailing on HD-DVD. Do you really think that Warner is going to keep stock up? I highly doubt it, who knows if they will even keep to their claim that they will keep releasing until May, June or what ever they said. They are going to clear stock.
It is over, get over it and move on like the rest of us have.
