A 3000:1 contrast ratio is pretty poor.<br><br>And has anyone used a modern IR remote these days?  You don't really have to point them directly at the set anymore. That is for non-dynamic simultaneous contrast on a checkerboard pattern.<br><br>Number that are better than that are always suspect by me. Displays all have there own amount of internal reelections. That means a bright white spot will spread into dark areas reducing contrast ratios.<br><br>The Bravias *usually* use the harder to do good in realistic measurements. ]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[joe]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Feb 21st 2008 2:20PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
