It blows my mind how LCD manufactures still continue to state those blown out of proportion-gibberish dynamic contrast ratios. Everyone knows that it's all bullshit. There should be a rule now that the ANSI contrast ratio must be used on product spec - dynamic CR is all nothing but misleading advertisement and lies.
So, for these LG LCDs, the 15,000:1 is more like 700:1 ANSI CR....junk.

I agree... if we're going to have that number advertised, it should be a real measurement.
I doubt my Samsung 71 is anywhere near the 25,000:1 they advertise, but whatever it truly is, it's high enough for me. Quite sexy. :)
