I do not understand why these types of products need to be so expensive. Anyone can buy OEM 0.5TB SATA2 drives for $89. Looking at the specs, a USB2 controller with four SATA2 ports and four $89 drives and apower supply should cost anywhere $1K, let alone the $3K they are asking.
