I got my player during the firesale.  Looks like the BD firesales are starting now, since it seems like people are waiting for Profile 2.0, and confidence went down after it was found out the only future-proof player right now is the PS3.<br><br>So my brilliant plan is to take advantage of this and snag either a Profile 1.1 player or a PS3 (likely the former; don't care about games, don't care about lame "exclusive online content") as soon as the income tax refund comes in.
