I don't necessarily hate or love Verizon (I did not like the Verizon DSL I had for a short time, but I've had and liked Verizon Wireless for many years). I've either had or extensively used almost all of the alternatives for tv and internet, so I think I've had enough experience to comment on Verizon FIOS. I've had it for slightly over a year and absolutely love it. Whether we're talking about tv or broadband internet, it's just simply better than anything else I've ever had (Comcast, Cablevision, Optimum Online, Verizon DSL, DirectTV, Dish Network). For tv, it has more channels (including the NFL Network, which is so hard to come by), and especially more channels in HD than Cablevision had (I never HDTV when I had the other companies). For internet, it's simply the fastest connection I've ever used. I regularly get download speeds that top 1MB/second and upload speeds that are twice as fast as Optimum Online (which is funny because uploading with Optimum Online was about 4 times as fast as Comcast was for me).
Except for some billing issues that were ridiculously annoying to get fixed, I haven't had any problems with FIOS (unlike DirectTV, which used to lose a signal every time it rained hard or was too windy). I've yet to read about or hear about anyone complaining about FIOS. All I've read is people complaining that FIOS wasn't available in their area.
That being said, I was curious to read why you were having such problems. Unfortunately, I had to stop reading it after a few sentences because the writing was so horrible. The spelling and grammar was pretty bad, but that wasn't the problem for me - the punctuation was pretty bad and the content was simply unreadable (give the Caps Lock key a break, guy). I'm really not trying to stand on a soapbox, but I couldn't follow along with what you were saying at all. I'm sorry you're having trouble and wish you the best of luck.
