I would strongly suggest anyone interested to take a real close look at the package offering and the real costs as they apply to everyone's personal situation. This kind of reminds me of Naked DSL where the cost was the same as if you had DSL and kept the phone service.
Also, I wonder what the real consequences are with the DVR and TiVo suits. Dish had an opportunity to get me as a subscriber, but they were not offering what DirecTV and Comcast was offering, which was two HD DVRs (four tuners) at no up-front cost. Tough love, I know, but tough cookies as they lost.
